Updated September 18, 2026. This describes the current website implementation, rather than the game or linked stores.

Browsing and technical requests

The guides are served as static web pages. There is no site account, comment system or payment form. The hosting and delivery provider, Cloudflare, may process IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and security-related request data to deliver and protect the site. Provider retention depends on the service configuration. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Analytics and advertising

This website also uses Umami analytics. Your browser loads a measurement script from umami-nine-rust.vercel.app to collect website usage information.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is active on the published website. Our hosting service adds a measurement script that reports page views and browser performance measurements, such as page-load timing. Loading a page can request the script from static.cloudflareinsights.com and send measurements through /cdn-cgi/rum. This is separate from the technical requests needed to serve the page.

The homepage and six substantive guide pages currently load the Google AdSense library with publisher ID ca-pub-8830315294299920. About, Contact, Privacy and the 404 page do not load that script. This repository currently contains the loader but no explicit <ins class="adsbygoogle"> ad-slot markup; whether Google serves Auto ads or other ads is controlled by the AdSense account configuration.

If Google serves ads on those pages, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies and process information associated with ad requests. You can review or opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Ad personalization and consent requirements depend on the actual AdSense account configuration and visitor location; Google says publishers serving personalized ads in the EEA, UK or Switzerland need a certified consent-management setup. This site currently has no CMP or ad-slot configuration in this repository. We will update this notice if ad slots, personalization, third-party networks or consent management are enabled.

Opening the browser demo

The homepage’s Demo controls open the developer’s itch.io page in a separate window or tab. Starting the game there may also connect your browser to itch.zone hosting. Game requests and game-save storage are controlled by that service, not by this guide. See itch.io’s privacy policy. The guide cannot inspect your game save.

External sources

Following a publisher, store, support or community link takes you to a service with its own data practices. Do not send passwords, payment details or private game files to this guide. The homepage checklist keeps its checked items only in the open page; it does not save them to browser storage or send them to the game. Reloading the page resets the checklist. Browser privacy settings may affect storage used by the separately opened game.
